Event Manager duties

Below are the duties and responsibilities of an Event Manager.

As an Event Manager you will represent Emma Live and be the first point of contact to guests at the event. The below list is not comprehensive, but includes the main duties and responsibilities of an Emma Event Manager.

  • Read through event brief pre-event
  • Brief volunteers/client staff on Emma Live fundraising platform
  • Assist with Check in service (if applicable)
  • Table welcomes once guests are seated
  • Support guests throughout the event if they have any questions
  • Support with live auction spotting (if applicable)
  • Support with event close
  • Collect tablets at the end of the event (if applicable)
  • Liaise closely with Tech Manager on the night (e.g. if guests need passwords reset or manual bids added)
