Tech Manager duties

Below are the duties and responsibilities of a Tech Manager.

As a Tech Manager you will represent Emma Live and be the first point of contact to Emma's client at the event. The below list is not comprehensive, but includes the main duties and responsibilities of an Emma Tech Manager.

  • Represent Emma Live
  • Read through event brief pre-event
  • Set up the fundraising tablets (if applicable)
  • Manage the Emma Live Event Management system
  • Support throughout the event with system updates
  • Monitors bids throughout the night
  • Enters live auction bids
  • Corrections to bids
  • Enters manual activity if needed
  • Re-set guest’s passwords, edit their profile settings if needed
  • Send out communication (e.g. auction closing soon, items without bids etc – confirm with client first)
  • Close the auction
  • Update client on event performance
  • Pack up the fundraising tablets (if applicable)
